2019-20 - Oregon - it never snows here and when it does, it sucks
MHM boundary rules a little different this season?
“Until then, we will not be allowing any uphill travel within the resort with the exception of the designated routes found here. Those who do hike for turns and want to re-enter the ski area boundary shall do so only into open terrain.”
Did they allow re-entry into open terrain before?
I was under the impression that the boundary was closed period

I always thought that you were allowed to re-enter the resort on to open terrain. I have encountered plenty of Meadows staff while doing that and never had them ask me to exit. I have had them ask me to exit while skinning up along the south rope line after/before operating hours

120 cm ski pole, 1/2 of that is 60. I'll bring my conversion tables next time for the orygun crowd

I'm laughing over here, you're calling out the guy who skied pow, when you didn't - and you're saying he didn't plunge his ski pole to the ground and find that snow depth was about half his pole length, and the pic shows no grass shrubs or rocks, and he's all smiles? And you're saying he can't do unit conversions, when he didn't claim to convert anything away from cm? Lol ...
I'm not a very tall guy, I also skin with my poles set to just shy of 120 cm length.
