For MHM telemetry, the most accurate number is not 24Sno it’s SnoHt (height of snowpack).

SnoHt current - SnoHt @ X time = total snowfall

It was deep today... the 18”+ increase in SnoHt on telemetry was accurate. Faaaaarkin deep.

Nice graph but definitely doesn’t tell the full story of insane wind, bulletproof ice and fluctuating snow/freezing levels!

That's what I was thinking. 4 major rain events (?) left a lot of ridges bare when I was up last 3-12-20

just happened here(Jackson) yesterday. About 10 first responders the first evening and the search got called off. Today 40 SAR members, multiple forecasters, ski patrol for both throwing shots to mitigate the slopes above and dogs from the ski area, sheriff dept and a helicopter.

HRC closed the trails down even for ride ups. Gonna be a long summer if this keeps up as I don't see the covid magically going away on a specific date

As of Friday April 3, 2020 Hood River County parks, forests, forest recreational staging areas, facilities and trails will be closed to all recreational activities until further notice. Gates accessing these areas will remain closed in accordance with this order. :::: To be clear: Post Canyon trails are CLOSED to all recreational use until further notice from the County.

Cancellation was on local news. No Summer activities will crush many business. It's hard to imagine a whole Summer and who knows how long in this lockdown.

At least the politicians back in Oregon are taking it seriously. Out here in Utah it’s almost business as usual. Fucking ridiculous. Has me considering moving back home.

Sisters Folk Fest is booking acts and selling tickets. In September so somewhat better chance of being out of this circle of hell. At least spring is supposed to arrive next week.
