    ^^^That looks kind of awesome

I decided to stay home and preserve the back. I did a little too much Sat and made a last second call. The boy was not happy, but we’ll get there soon enough.

    I still haven't gotten back there ... sigh ...

It's gonna be a close call and it ain't been decided yet. Maybe it's worth making my first weather video of the year. Definitely an exciting or terrifying weather pattern coming through. 5+ inches of rain in 4 days in much of the valley. Just hoping we get some good base builder out of it. 'T'ain't gonna be pow.

Yeah the video is moot at this point and would only be depressing. Hopefully the forecast models, which are all eerily in agreement, are completely wrong about multiple inches of rain, even at elevation. They've been wrong in these cases before, especially in early season, so there's hope... Just not a whole lot of it.

Yes yes, I know... Shut my dirty whore mouth.

Meanwhile a bit further north they're calling for anywhere between 1-3 FEET with the highest amounts centering around the only ski area in the Cascades that's yet to begin operating

Friday at Mt B looks to be special...

"The first 50 Subaru’s enjoy VIP parking (it’s looking like it’ll be a pow day!) in the upper Sunrise lot. Be one of the first 100 in line for First Chair and get a FREE breakfast burrito, courtesy of Yeti and Mt. Bachelor. "

Great, I usually get there about 0815 and am probably the 20th vehicle in the lot, Subie or otherwise.

"...The first 25 guests to order a Sunrise Bloody at the Sun Bar starting at 1:30 p.m. will be enjoying sipping out of FREE Yeti."

DO NOT get between Jonesy and the Sun Bar after 1300pst. Injury may result
Wonder how big a Yeti cooler you get with the BM?

And with all that, Thursday looks to be better conditions...

The wind is already starting to pickup here in Welches. The wife said wind up at Timberline was getting stronger when she got to work earlier this morning.

^yea I was thinking the same.

What I’m seeing also shows Friday to be the only warm day and also the lowest bit of precipitation.
