ETA - Mt Bachelor is one of his sponsors. But nothing yet on their website

Great sport watching that race. He smashed his second run.

I always love seeing that big sticker on his helmet!

Made a couple of laps at bachelor. Best skiing were the sides. Soft & carvy. Hit all 3 lifts and out of there.

I don't remember if that tingling feeling is a boner or just how winter storms make my heart feel. Telemetry shows 3" last 24.

Finally a base builder for the smaller mountains!

I wonder if the Doo can pull a crew together to do cat driving on Friday for a soft open on Saturday? Do they have a winch cat? The new stuff is coming in heavy but I make no fantasy about what it takes to cover up season ending logs and stumps.

If there are any other young newborn/toddler families here who ski the Doo or WP, hit me up! We have a 1-year old and I’m on board with the ski every other 90 minutes plan, but my wife hates skiing by herself - so I’m trying to find her some partners. Meeting other families doing similar trade off duty would rock!

I also plan to do some waxless tromping around with daughter on my back, while
Wife is skiing inbounds, leaving from the Doo/WP parking lots, but again, wife hates skiing by herself.

    Happy Turns

I like my snowpack like my women... right-side up... wet and heavy on the bottom, light and fluffy on the top?

I've been suckered by these kinds of forecasts before, but gotta admit I'm excited for this.

It’s good up here today... filling in! Couple inches of moderate density snow on crust in the sunny spots, boot deep wind transport elsewhere. Love the hissing sound when you get enough speed to float in this kind of snow.

Ptex was donated in the name of snowpack assessment... the fresh base grind is no longer fresh.

Thanks again for sacrificing your bases in the name of science. Did you get into the North Canyon at all?

    Brilliant! Thanks for the idea!

Hoodoo ran 3 of these last year and they are 2 hours long. They were on the last Sunday in January, the last Sunday in February, the 3rd Sunday in March. Hoodoo hasn't announced them yet for 2020, but I'll keep my eye out.

This year the Dew will have an open race course for those that are into that sort of thing. More than likely Fri-Sun. Also City league racing Friday nights.

Negative, I suspect they are a long way off from that. Creek crossings are still open is my guess.

I passed on this comment to Ms TBS. She looked at me kinda sideways and said "I'll bet he's not married". She didn't believe me when I said you were...

I understand why she thinks that. 9 years and counting, I’m shocked too.

Old pair of Blizzard bonafides. It’s all good, that’s what they are for.

Today marks the official 1 year anniversary I got stuck on Blue. Thankfully Blue is not spinning today, otherwise I probably wouldn't go skiing.
