    Bingo!

And The Rogue Valley is also not really PNW - from a weather, topographic and geographic standpoint. But very much State of Orygun / Jefferson, very much stoked out with good skiing when the conditions allow. You can say the same for Anthony Lake!

That's weird because the PNW thread was created after a day @ Bachelor.

So why is there an Oregon thread?

Why is there no WA thread?

    All these questions!

2019-20 - Oregon - it never snows here and when it does, it sucks

MHM boundary rules a little different this season?

“Until then, we will not be allowing any uphill travel within the resort with the exception of the designated routes found here. Those who do hike for turns and want to re-enter the ski area boundary shall do so only into open terrain.”

Did they allow re-entry into open terrain before?
I was under the impression that the boundary was closed period

I always thought that you were allowed to re-enter the resort on to open terrain. I have encountered plenty of Meadows staff while doing that and never had them ask me to exit. I have had them ask me to exit while skinning up along the south rope line after/before operating hours

This is the same as last year. I believe the big thing they do not want to happen is someone drop from the wyeast face into superbowl when it is closed.

I make a motion that all snow measurements in Orygun are in inches or feet. I hate long division

120 cm ski pole, 1/2 of that is 60. I'll bring my conversion tables next time for the orygun crowd

Your own conversion tables say you’re wrong. 120 cm equals 47 inches. 1/2.54 for future math. Fuck that socialized education eh?

I hear vinches is the new snow depth standard in Washington. Let's steal it from 'em.

Vinches only valid at Vail-owned venues

I'm laughing over here, you're calling out the guy who skied pow, when you didn't - and you're saying he didn't plunge his ski pole to the ground and find that snow depth was about half his pole length, and the pic shows no grass shrubs or rocks, and he's all smiles? And you're saying he can't do unit conversions, when he didn't claim to convert anything away from cm? Lol ...

I'm not a very tall guy, I also skin with my poles set to just shy of 120 cm length.

    Now you're speaking my language! 120CM = 1 pole length = 6 beers = 500 vinches

3 beer snowpack in central OR?
