I work in most towns of the panhandle and the lack of education is unreal. It doesn’t help that our teachers are sub par either.
I will say this, the “born here” crowd have more real world skills than any I have met from ‘Jersey.

Anyone else notice the Idaho news site misspelled 'dumbest' in the URL? I love Idaho.

Coming off a 2 year stint in the more progressive parts of Idaho, and with family of both the blood and legal kinds all over the state, i can heartily agree with the article and conumdrum's take.

When I lived in eastern WA, we used to refer to Idaho as “the south of the north”.

It's "The West's Dixie." The Union wanted, and still wants, nothing to do with Idaho. Thanks.
