I would prefer then crowded days and weekends if given the option.

getting off 4 and 6 person chairs can suck when others do things like go left from the right chair.

Summit 6 at Alpine--if you're heading to Alpine Bowl or points beyond you go straight. Otherwise you do a 180 off the chair. Whether you go left and pass below the patrol building or go right and pass above it you wind up at exactly the same place, but people still insist on doing what you describe.

Getting off the Headwall 6 at Squaw the runout is straight but narrow and downhill. People have to watch out for each other--some have to go slow and others fast to keep from getting tangled up. Fortunately people who ride that chair almost always know what they're doing. Then there are the people who make an immediate hard right 180 off the chair to get to high North Bowl. Not a problem--as long as they're on the far right of the chair.

    Trust me. I get it.

Gondolas were fun as all hell when I was in my early 20's and consistently rolled with a crew or 4+ so we could basically hijack our own gondola. We would even do a round-trip ride sometimes and just drink beers the whole way around, but now that I'm often not rolling with a large group, Gondolas BLOW!

One time, I walked off a gondi platform at Killington while while fussing with getting my twin tips onto the rack thingy. Good thing it was a pow day, lol.

Man, it's not about the ride up at Silver. It's about skiing the gondola line down.

Are you being serious? I honestly can't tell.
There's a lot of private property there. And an uphill.

He is. You can. Sad thing is it’s become very popular and a lot of people do it first run, which is lame. It was fun to save it for last run and have great turns at the end of the day.

Ten middle-aged Japanese businessmen on a gondola with a single high school girl would make for an enteraining video.

Gotchya. I think I did see a service track. That would be a fucking dumb first run.
