If we're living in a simulation like our Lord and Savior E. Musk has proclaimed, then my answer is maybe.

In my particular simulation, things appear to be programed where there are many other "people" (holograms?) who answer phone calls. I usually do that, and then poof, there are "people" (AI?) to ski with.

That doesn't appear to be how my simulation is programed.

We're living in a simulation, so by default I have exclusively used an online platform to find people to do anything with.
