the helmet was off in the last episode. it was a direct reference to darth vader's helmet being off in star wars, methinks.
even if not, homage is paid in so many ways. i'm still enthralled. by the experience. for an old star wars fan (saw Empire Striked Back when it came out and I was 4) i needed this.

I liked the stormtroopers- can’t- shoot bit also. I read someplace earlier today that die hard Star Wars fans are trolling the shit out of those two actors for punching baby Yoda in that scene. Pretty funny

I can't wait for season 2. Just a great entry into the Star Wars universe. Simple but very well done.

In a bit of foresight we dressed our boy up as "baby Yoda" for Halloween, Weeks before Mandolorian premiered. Might have to reuse the costume next year
