Took a wonderful NYE family walk by the river today discussing the potential that the Armorer is Sabine Wren and how old Sabine would be if it was her. Also, that’s the most bad ass fight scene so far (with the Armorer), and it may be the most gruesome fighting scene that I can remember in Star Wars.

Armor has not shattered or splintered in any live action fight in star wars. Seeing the Storm trooper armor fly was amazing. I guess when you get hit by a blacksmiths beskar steel hammer you get broke.

I like the Sabine theory. It has probably been somewhere between 15 to 30 years between rebels and Mando, so the age of the armorer seems like it could fit. She was pretty much an older teen in rebels

I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

    Mandalorian

I nerded out on wookiepedia while on the crapper. Mando would be about the same age or older than Sabine. If the site is correct about timing.

It’s 5 years after ROTJ, meaning it’s only 10-12 years after Rebels (not 15 to 30).

So those characters (Mando and Sabine) would be in the 30-45 year age range.

where do you place the mandalorian timeline? it looks to me as if it should be a few hundred years post-empire...

just five? those stormtroopers looked way too disheveled in ep. 2 to be just 5 years post empire. especially the ones with their heads sticking out of a stick.

babby yoda being 50 yo too doesn't fit with such a close timeline. i guess we'll see next year

edit: ok, i googled a bit. 5 years seems right, thanks!

So Sabine was 16 at the start of Rebels, 21 when it finished. She would be 28-29 around the time of the Mandalorian. The Mandalorian is estimated to be 7 years older than Sabine. You got me.

That timeline shows it 3 years after Return, though I don't understand what that is based on. I felt it was a bit further out as I thought it took longer to break the remnants of the empire and longer for the New Republic to form. It is hinted in the show that the empire has fallen and that the New Republic is a bit of a joke.

I also thought that it was further out, but my 14yo felt certain that it was much closer to end of ROTJ. I believe wookiepedia, states that it’s 9 years after the battle that destroyed the first Death Star.

Not really to scale, but its just after Return of the Jedi.

Some good Lore from Clone Wars at the end of this season.

I watched the 8 episodes again over the last few days so that my wife could binge watch them. Today, we’re laying in bed in the morning and first thing she says:
