i'm sorry lucas, but this format is the future for the star wars universe.

I could not believe it. I immediately felt they had cheapened the flick by just stealing old western movie plots and transferring them to the future. By episode 3 or 4, I've started to settle into it.

the helmet was off in the last episode. it was a direct reference to darth vader's helmet being off in star wars, methinks.

even if not, homage is paid in so many ways. i'm still enthralled. by the experience. for an old star wars fan (saw Empire Striked Back when it came out and I was 4) i needed this.

Agree. Seems to have just about the right amount of CGI. Maaaaybe a few too many references, but I still laughed hard when the stormtroopers couldn't shoot.

I liked the stormtroopers- can’t- shoot bit also. I read someplace earlier today that die hard Star Wars fans are trolling the shit out of those two actors for punching baby Yoda in that scene. Pretty funny

    Pretty good foreshadow. Chapeau.
Also, I’ve been watching “The Chef Show”, and it gives a pretty good insight into Favreau’s personality and humor which is all over “The Mandalorian”.

Heard some thing on the radio that Latin Twitter is in love with him and has baptised him "Yodito", so that's what my wife and I have been calling him.

I can't wait for season 2. Just a great entry into the Star Wars universe. Simple but very well done.

In a bit of foresight we dressed our boy up as "baby Yoda" for Halloween, Weeks before Mandolorian premiered. Might have to reuse the costume next year Click image for larger version.

Couldn't remember if I saw them in Clone Wars, been a few years since I watched it with the kids.

Gina's a Reno girl, very legit MMA fighter. Also did a movie called Haywire, I believe.

There was a quick shot of a Mandalorian bounty hunter in The Force Awakens, too.
