I cancelled Disney before I watched episode 4&5 and it's pretty meh so far. Even boba did more for me, despite the vespa Gang.

Well that was rather mediocre. From now on I will be careful again to jump into the Star wars trap that mandalorian has set. Fortunately I still get to see multiverse of madness this month. Glad I quit.

Oof. Even with my low expectations, I found the last episode disappointing

I wasn't invested in any characters at all. And storywise i was just thinking most of the time "huh why?" And nothing really happenend. Very generic plotlines.

And don't get me started on character Motivations or characterisations.

    I liked it.
Really it was just filing in gaps between the movies.
You learned more about Kenobi, Leia, and learned a bit more about the timing at the beginning of the empire that was already established when we first encountered it in 1977.

not sure what people were expecting.....

Still haven't watched the final episode yet, but I think it has been great. Definitely a gap filler. Watched Ep. 3 with my 12yo last night and loved all the connections.

I don't know. Some cool characters interesting plot lines like mandalorian?

And I mean obi wan is a cool character to begin with.... but they didn't do anything with it, for me at least.

And don't get me started on the shaky handycam in episodes 5 and 6. Whyyy?

It's not bad. But it's not great either. As I've said before even book of boba Entertained me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the series. I liked the way it showed Obi-wan's growth from episode to episode. The Reva story seemed too rushed. Her change would have been better with a couple more episodes.

It's time to fix Kenobi, as only Auralnauts can

This is perfection. It does spend the first 3 minutes getting you up to speed on the Jedi Party version of the saga, if you haven't already done that.
Wait, how can we trust this guy^^^ He's clearly not DJSapp

Surprised at the negativity, I liked it a lot. Much better than Book of Boba Fett.

I think this series shows how good Jon Favreau is.

This was my main complaint. Her character had a ton of potential to be really interesting but they didn't have time to really get into it.

Yup. Two episodes that mostly followed her could have made it great. I still enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it. It wasn't oh my that was insane... but I was entertained.

Now, I may fold my disney plus sub until the next one. Mostly caught up in the universe and my kids aren't using it as much as I expected.

This. He is a person who actually likes Star wars and combines Fan Service with fresh and interesting story lines that are not overly complex, but typical Star wars.

Just watched the whole Obi Wan so now can read this thread again.

I liked it overall, even though it had lots of problems.

Leia and Luke are supposed to be 10. Those kids are younger than 10.

Why was Reva wanting to kill Luke? Her whole "I'm just trying to kill Vader" thing was found out, so why is she still serving the empire?

Doesn't anyone actually kill their mortal enemy? FFS, how many people left for dead -- who their opponent wanted dead -- still lived?

The hand held camera was terrible. And the show glitched like crazy in the last episode, when nothing else I watched did, almost seemed intentional.

Some of the drama is lost when you know certain characters have to live.

Still, I enjoyed it. Better than Boba.

I researched, and the actress playing Leia turned 9 during filming. She was a young looking 9, IMO.

My hot take was that there are future plans to justify using such young actors to play the kids.

yeah, I thought the same, they went with as young as they could so they could continue to use the same actor.
