R.I.P Sid Haig (bka Captain Spaulding...)
I had no idea that veteran character actor Sid Haig died in late September.
Perhaps best known for his turn as psycho clown Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie's films House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects Haig had been a Hollywood fixture simce the 70s.
When I saw 3 From Hell, the sequel to TDR, earlier that month it was accompanied by a behind-the-scenes featurette that discussed why Haig wasn't in the film due to health reasons, but that was all I heard until discovering the news of his death today.
I re-watched House of 1000 Corpses on Halloween and Haig completely owns that film as Captain Spaulding...

Saw title and was wondering if I mis-remebered him dying.
Hell, I thought he died at the end of Devils Rejects.
