Same problem here further East (Porte Puymorens - Andorra), it is not after your first turn that you realize that it is quite thin on top of the ice. Apparently lots of snow on the way in the next few days though.

    Good snow, bad visibility.

25cm on top of a firm layer. But tomorrow 100+km wind, probably bringing sand from Sahara.

    Skied my nemesis again today.

This couloir intimidates me, maybe because it's well over 50 degrees and it's pretty narrow.

Today the snow was pretty uneven, from ab inch of soft on top of firm, to skis sinking in about a foot.

And it had rollers, so, for me, pretty challenging.
Made some meh turns, sidestepped some, but i made it in one piece.

It doesn't look that good, but it was fun skiing. 2,000 ft couloir, soft snow but with lots of avie debris.
And rocks, so you had to be very precise with the turns.

How the fuck? I mean ive seen broken surfboards, but two pair of skis? over each other? what did they do with them? stick them in concrete and ride a bulldozer over them? You need so much force to do that. It's nearly impossible in normal transportation.
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.

Vibes Rod. Looks to me like they damaged the bindings too so you'd better make sure the airline buys you new ones too.

I should look more carefully, at first glance the bindings looked ok
