Suggestions for Winter Camping Sleeping Bag

Hi all. I live in CO and my buddy bought a 4 season tent recently to help get us into more overnight ski tours in the winter/spring.

My question is what temperature rating bag to get? I'm not familiar with the insulation qualities of a 4 season tent, so is a -30 F bag necessary? Can I save some weight and go with a 0F? Just looking for some input. I have a pretty solid sleeping pad setup as well. TIA

Given that you’re using a good pad, I’d go with a -10 or 0 d bag, and you’re probably carrying some kind of serious puffy jacket and maybe some extra long-undies so that’ll give you a little back-up.
