I’m just trying to herd all the cats at this point. Probably start on SQ. Be a minor miracle if we are there by 8:45

    Edit: major miracle

    Further edit: obviously impossible

No complaints in the end. Up SQ just after 9. We were still stringing 15-20 deep untouched turns together around noon where we were.

Slimmer pickins after a lunch stop, but the morning was really excellent.

However, our plan to hike the bowl tomorrow is looking questionable.

We skied a lap on G8/G6 around noon and it was pretty good. Cold enough and 4-6” and it stayed snowing all afternoon up high. I think the bowl will be fine tomorrow.

Best turns of the day were in GLE.

    Normally I agree.

But with these 3-4” dumps, the low angle groomers at Snowmass ski really well.

I just turned in my Man Card, picking up my Old Man Card.

yeah, I haven't had that pitted without some work lap all season. Ready for our 30" reset week any week now. That said, the right turns on east walls were $$ yesterday, as were the anything on true NE aspect.

In snowmass today we found run after run of soft untouched. Some pretty damn deep. A total surprise. Honestly one of the best days of the season in a season full of good days for me.

Sometimes I love the typical snowmass vacationer. When they are happily skiing down a heavily traveled run while totally fresh untracked stuff is 20 yards away is one of those times.

Was colder than we planned on though. Underdressed, and since it was skiing too well to stop for lunch it was bone cold by end of day.

    Worth it.

Fun day out yesterday with sun, good snow and Power of 4 finishing. Didn’t stick around for Shaq, but the base/mountain were humming all day

I only wish. My brother asked me if I thought Shaq might ski a few laps at Ajax before his concert. I said that I’m quite sure there aren’t boots to fit his size 22 foot...
