Looking for a new pair of 100-105mm-ish 'all mountain' skis. Likely just take the shop person's advice, I've never had skis I didn't like. I'll have my current skis with me so no need to borrow but thank you for the offer.
So, will likely get a pair of mindbender 108's. I see that they're about $750 here in Canuckistan and the exact same price coast to coast in Trumpland - that's kinda weird. Think I'll just pick them up here in the north... I mean I'm rich so I *could* get 'em stateside but I'm not THAT rich.

Either way who cares about me - how's the season been going? Website says pretty much everything is open, but how's the coverage in the usual important spots been?

Season snowfall is above average and conditions/coverage are very good. Would be nice to get a big multi day cycle and reset now that the Christmas crowd is gone but I'm not complaining.

I'll be there in 10 days and I promise not to be snobby to locs, though I will be on the Ikon.

Oh look out for attitude. I paid full price for my lift tickets so I can have the proper street cred when I get to Zanes.

    2019/20 Aspen/Roaring Fork Thread

8:45’s usually adequate, but not this week. I got friends in both condos.
I’ll be at the VX in Snowmass, but it’s just not the same.

Took my 7 year old to 1A for the first time. She enjoyed slow rolling.

Really nice at Ajax this morning. Mellow crowd and skied quite soft. Managed another core shot on my way out to SQR. Tagged another in Bingo on Saturday... coverage is still coming around

Good timing, per usual, for Buster. Another few inches of champagne fluff overnight. Still drifting in and out today

I’m lucky enough to be visiting Aspen for a few days, and need to get some Salomon/Atomic/Armada Shift bindings mounted while I’m in town; does anyone have any recommendations of shops to use or avoid?

Love the Ute for other things. But definitely NOT for mounts; whatever you do.

Sounds like things are skiing well right now! We arrive for 4 days of skiing starting Monday. Anu suggestions on which hill is skiing the best right now?

If anybody wants to meet up for some turns, the apres is on us. Let me know.

All three mountains are worth your time.

Shredhead it was fun to meet and spin some laps with you Tuesday. The wife and daughter made it out on the 330 flight and the crew I was with skied a freshly covered Highlands Wednesday. My legs were noodled and the vis was garbage but Highlands Bowl delivered yet again...like it does every time I visit.

Bristlecone, if you make it downvalley - ask for Josh (he's a pro).
    Good eats nearby.

+1 on avoiding Ute for mounts.
