    I guess I will find out and let you all know...assuming we end up going. But figured booking a hotel, which was a really good price, with no cancellation penalty was not a bad way to go. Plus to bbear's post about low crowds early season, is what we are hoping for. Not looking forward to 10 hours of driving from Central Oregon, but if there's great early season conditions, it will make the drive worth it!

    How did you get a third day of skiing on MC? I'm thinking about postponing my Ikon and going MC because of COVID. I no longer live next door to a resort so this is my first year with either of these passes and I'm trying to figure them out. I'm in WY making Jackson and Targhee important for me.

    I think the extra/3rd day deal has passed. It’s usually only available until mid/late summer. It seemed like it was available longer than normal this summer.

    What’s the likely capacity limits they’ll have on Jackson Hole in January. Anyone have an idea or inside source?

    Two notes of sadness here:

    I missed snagging the sweet bike by a few hours;

    and, In 1984 I cut my below shoulder length hair into what I thought would be a big rat tail, more like a pony size tail. So I had all my hair cut into a proper short haircut. Looked great from the front.
    But that long fat tail was, I fear, maybe the original mullet.
    I'll look for the wedding photo of it. It's hilariously depressing.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    An old local asked me if I could repair some paint issues. It turned into a 3 day full paint that just bought my ski pass. And he got a crushing deal.
    Sweet. roughly 24 hrs of work for a full season of skiing the vill and an Ikon pass.
    FKNA.
    Congrats on locking in the pass. Found that photo you’re talking about, by the way:
    Think I'm going to have to finally cut my hair for a wedding in the middle of next year. Could possibly turn it into an epic mullet.
    By that time it would resemble something like that ^
    Hemis, Blondes and Gangsta friends.
    Joe was all right.
    Picture me with hair a little longer than that but w/some waves and then cut it into a business do with the strip down the back, in the center, untouched. a pony tail. Braided it a lot after that which made it into the rat tail, popular at the time.
    Had a blonde streak in my hair, cuz that was edgy then too...
    At least cut it into a mullet for a few photos, then back to wedding mode.
    I was an usher at my sister's wedding, back then. I'll have to ask her if she hated it.
    At the MT Shootfest v.3, there was some funny banter about thinning hair. The term -Monkey butt, came up.
    Today, I could envision a mullet, cut into a full mohican, with the little natural bald spot in there. Mulletican w/nest.
    Maybe w/a headband.
