    Well, that was quite a day... shoulda brought the snorkel. Multiple inches on the hat brim at the end of the skintrack. Village tomorrow, early in the tram line.

    The mrs finding some ungodly deep blower.

    Skied with Dfinn the last few days. 25 short yesterday and some deep Ollie laps today. Fun was had. Hell of a storm cycle. Hell of a winter. My legs are tired.

    Edit to add: big clap of thunder and flash of lightning out west of Driggs. Wild evening.

    2 road closures, 3 near misses with cops and 10.5 hours later …
    And I'm finally here.

    Look for a neon yellow jacket with blue helmet in the early tram line and ask for change.
    Should be meeting up with Djongo, super stoked to make turns with him again.

    I’m not skiing my MX98s tomorrow, but may try to make it for an early tram. TBD

    Last week I could only get 5 trams, thanks to the blackout this weekend, I got 7 today. on the
    first public at 9:05, on the last at 3:30. No food or drink, just straight powder skiing.

    Will do the same again tomorrow.

    Coin flip between Pon2oons and BMX115, depends on my mood in the am (really how much wind we get tonight and how wind fucked I think the snow has gotten)

    Good day in the sun and plenty of soft turns to go around. Skied the Djongo Special first thing, scored good turns. Fed some birds then hunted for leftovers. Great success!

    Not as epic a day as yesterday, but still got some great laps in including a center punch on the Headwall cliff band that I’ve been staring at the past few days.

    That was a stellar day of pow turns with friends, WOW!

    The TFT's just made it onto the first box and we were away within a minute of debarkation at the summit. Off to the Far Drift and a sweet set of bootttop turns down to Ross' slide where we all had another 800 vert of boot to knee deep turns.

    It pays to get up and out the door. We had untracked or close all the way down. Going with the flow of the line. Feeling my Chi flow out and down the slope. So much good snow. kneedeep plus or minus with plenty of hip shots around.

    Hunting shorter lines, we pounded a few Caspers and even a coupla Marmots as they were ski-on and soft skiing from the study plots to the liftline. Soft windblown buffery over soft, deep crud. What a great combination.

    Finally cat and moused Pfluffenmeister as he skied beneath us on Thunder, yelling - ' Change for a nickel'. Really loudly. We 4 chaired over for another OB lap via Ship's prow for a soft tilted field of pow. More quality snow for a final lap around 2.

    Good fun my friends. Way to get after it. Not too many people had a better day than us.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    For the first time, all season, I did not have boot/foot pain within the first 30 minutes. Stood in tram line for about an hour, nope. Skied 5 hours, nope.
    No nothing for pain or even cold.
    Why?
    Because Skiing-in-Jackson gave me the full 'remold my intuition' treatment.
    I am 100% better for an hours work. That's impressive. You nailed it for me mag, Thank You.
    He's in the basement of the Hostelx. Get in there.
    Nice shot Skeeze. Man, you nailed some good storming. Solid work.
    What a weekend! Skied Taylor today. Foolishly thought we might have good viz, the sun was kind of out when we headed up.
    20 minutes from the summit the weather went back to what it’s been doing all weekend. Heavy snow and 0 viz. Great skiing though.
    We went up the ridge to the west. Is it a lot less effort to go up the ridge that splits the S and E face?
    Yesterday was top 5 for my short 6 year life in Jackson. I’m fairly mellow and don’t get too high or low, but I had serious powder fever, wanted it all and now. Even suggested some crazy shit to get more pow, but wstdeep talked some sense into me.
    Hey, I'm heading for JH this weekend. Skiing Saturday thru Monday. On Saturday, I'm meeting up with family, (4 adults). I have a pass, but none of them do. It seems like I've seen posts in here where some of you JH mags have access to discounted day passes. Is that a possibility?
    Let it be known that hollering "CHANGE FOR A NICKEL!!!!!" pays dividends.
    And it was fucking soft today.
