Ankle Tendinitis anyone?
Crazy thing; I thought it was gout but doc says ankle tendinitis. It flares up randomly. Been trying the RICE approach but am worried about ski season. I wont be putting a boot on if it flares up.
Anyone deal with this and skiing? TIA.

Can be a lingering diagnosis, generally occurs either in the midportion of the tendon or where it inserts into the heel bone. Initial treatment can be rocker bottom athletic shoes (e.g., Hoka One) with a small silicone heel lift and then some stretching. Check out: https://footeducation.com/achilles-tendonitis/
