    WTB: used Smith I/O goggles

Anyone have a used pair they’d like to sell? My current pair’s goggle strap is trashed so I need something to work with the lens I have.

I’ve heard stories that they don’t stand behind their warranty but I’ll try?

Randomly I have 1 extra white I/O strap. I don’t recall which side. A potential piece of the puzzle to keep in mind.

Can the strap come off and be replaced? I was thinking it couldn’t be.

Potentially interested if the warranty doesn’t work.

Yes. The plastic pieces that the straps attach to in the front pop off the frame.

Their warranty is solid. I’ve had no issues and great service

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I’ve had good luck with their warranty as well. If you get shit down, I have extra I/O’s. Which exact model I/O is it?

Yea they took care of me when an I/O strap came out of those little jaws which are a stupid one-and-done closure. There was a minor frame redesign on the I/O in the last couple years, but the lenses are the same.

Well, it took over a month for me to hear that my warranty claim was rejected. Really surprised and super annoyed.

So now I’m wondering: does anyone have an extra I/O strap, preferably black or grey?

I definitely have an old pair of frames (red/white/blue) where the foam is a little worn out. But they live in a closet, so you can have them if you're interested. I'll try and snap some photos, if the foam is really bad you might be able to transfer better foam from your broken pair. Where in CO are you? Would rather arrange a meet up if it's convenient than ship because I am lazy (which method is less lazy is arguable, I realize)

I see a couple of I/O goggles on craigslist. Are you just looking for a handout? Why?
Spend $100 and you'll get a fresh new pair. I just did a couple weeks ago.
