Is Backcountry.com going to sue me?
I have a handful of self-published books, all with "backcountry" in the title. Think, Backountry Ski Guide to X, and X Pass Backcountry Ski Guide. They are for sale on Amazon.
Not being facetious -- genuinely concerned/curious. Was not a worry until I saw that one of the parties sued is a non-profit called Backcountry Babes.

I'd say it's more likely now than it was 10 minutes ago.

best defense is a good offense.... sue them fuckers first. settle for them changing their name plus 3 times all profits in damages.

there's probably a thousand different guidebooks with "backcountry" in the title.
but just to be safe you should rename them all to the "goatfuckers guide"

GREAT NEWS!!!
A quick search of the USPTO Trademark database and US Copyright Catalog shows NO results for "Lamb Expeditions"... surprisingly.
I say appropriate this valuable piece of IP and rename all your works accordingly post haste.
I'll PM my engagement letter and invoice.I still call it The Jake.
