Ibis Demo Fleet Sale: Ripley, Ripmo, Mojo 3
Alright, it's time to start unloading my Chasing Epic demo fleet... here goes. All bikes are similar builds: GX-level kits with upgraded Industry Nine Enduro 305 wheels (w/ Hydra hubs). I'll list the basic build spec below, and then if any bikes vary from that, I'll include it in the individual listing next to the picture. Apologies for the dirty tires in the pictures- snow and freezing temps have only allowed me to quickly hose the bikes down... they'll be properly cleaned before they're sold.
All of the bikes are in excellent condition as well- a few small scratches on the frame and/or fork, but otherwise clean. Everything functions perfectly, shifts great, etc. Brake pads have been replaced in the last month on all bikes. A few of the bikes are in pristine condition: both medium Ripmos and both large Mojo 3s. The Ripleys were both brand new in early September, and have only been ridden 10-12 days.
Priority goes to local sales (Boulder, CO), as I'd prefer to take cash and I really don't want to ship the bikes unless I have to. PM if interested.
Forks: Fox 36 Performance 160 on Ripmo, Fox 34 Performance 130 on Ripley, Fox 34 Performance 140 on Mojo 3
Shock: Fox DPX2 on Ripmo, Fox DPS Evol on Ripley/Mojo 3
Wheels: Industry Nine Enduro 305 on all
Drivetrain: SRAM GX Eagle 1x12, 32t front
Brakes: SRAM Level T w/ 180 rotors
Dropper Post: BikeYoke Revive (XL Ripmo has PNW Bachelor)
ALL SOLD.Last edited by smmokan; 11-16-2019 at 12:42 PM.

So what's the feedback you get from clients on the different bikes?

That's a tough question, since there are so many variables involved (bike, terrain, rider skill/ability, etc). In general, everyone has loved the bike they requested... I can't remember anyone complaining about anything, to be honest. 95% of the time our clients get the bike they ask for when they sign up, which helps.

Thx. I had heard a couple comments that the cassette gears were so thin and close together it didn’t take much to screw them up. Just a couple comments i heard in passing, no idea if they were talking out their ass or legit
Thx. I’ve bookmarked your sale for next year!

All gorgeous bikes. I would take any of the three, though I would lean towards the Ripley. Astechically the shock placement is perfect to my eye. I've been riding a Hightower 27.5+ for four seasons. I always thought it had a great look to it. Not really a fan of the look of the new santa Cruz shock setups down in the bottom bracket area. Never made sense why you would put the shock placement in the mud zone. Reminds me of an old cannondale Jekyll from years ago. Those look to be really good prices for some killer bikes.

Sick dealz, especially with those upgraded wheelsets and Revive droppers.
Curious, what made you decide to make that huge i9 upgrade on every bike? I can see the Revive because the reliability would be amazing. However many are in a shit ton.

Mostly because I love working with i9, and their wheels are amazing. TBH, the clients love the wheels as much as they love the bikes themselves. It's a big upfront cost each year, but I get that money back at the end of the year and it adds to the value of the trips.
Stuckathuntermtn- I own Chasing Epic (www.ChasingEpicMTB.com). These are the bikes I include in our trips each year.

interested in the XL Ripmo
Hi I'm interested in buying the XL Ripmo. I just joined the forum and am not able to PM (either my account is "awaiting activation" or I just can't figure it out). If you could get back to me (maybe by email?) that would be great, thanks

All Ripleys sold (for now, until I sell my personal bike in a few weeks).
Two Ripmos left: medium and XL. Waiting for interested buyers to pay on both, so this might change later today.
Three Mojo 3s left: medium and two larges.
