What I think is hilarious is the mobilization of the generally well-off sporty set who's lifestyle is ultimately responsible for WAY more then their share of legit malady in the world.
If you feel that way about the well off sporty set what the fuck are you doing here?

Amazing how fast they’ve managed to burn up all their credibility and goodwill pursuing something that would have gained them nothing to begin with.

People vote with their wallets by spending with someone they trust/identify with.

    Those are the questions.
TSG put them up to it so boycott may have to continue until TSG feels the pinch. The pain of reduced profits is the only teacher fit for such people.

This pissed me off so bad, that “company” doesn’t own that word, nor the rights to it, nor the meaning, no one does. Hopefully they change course.

It seems the "apology" letter is as much self-serving as apologetic. TSG set them off, I'll continue the boycott of TSG brands....kind of tough, because 'till now, I had happily used quite a few of them.

Boycotting Backcountrydotcom and their parent company's holdings (tsgconsumer dot com/portfolio) will have direct effects on my household:
Garden of Eatin' -- (various natural and organic)
Gardein -- (frozen meatless foods...damn, damn, damn!)
Famous Amos -- (cookies for drive-home snacking)
Arrowhead Mills -- (various natural and organic)
    Chloraseptic -- (sore throat spray)
Vitamin Water -- (expensive water in plastic bottles)

    Things that I've considered:
Planet Fitness -- (franchise gyms, don't care)
    Stumptown Coffee Roasters -- (drat)

    They also own beer companies:
PBR -- (No frigging way! Don't like it, never liked it)
Sweetwater Brewing -- (was curious, but not now)
Brew Dog -- (yet another to ignore)

SteepAndCheap and CompetitiveCyclist are operating under backcountrydotcom...I won't be using their sites either.

TSG's portfolio is more extensive than the brands listed above.

So how sweet will the backcountry.com Black Friday deals be after this? Who is going to hold their nose and buy something? I’ll pass.

Weird. I can't really think of anything I need that I would buy from them, so it will be fairly easy. And wifey set as well.

This^^ Thread is 63% trademark bullying outrage and 37% no deals there anymore outrage. I may have that backwards.

Goats looked so generic lately. Goatfuckery and red slashes really helping make the stickers cool again. Genius publicity move or shoulda seen the simmering apathy ready to turn to angst after hookups died? We'll know before long.

Seriously difficult to read that article, though, with "backcountry" replacing backcountry.com--or did it mean the other backcountry companies? Makes Schralf's point without even trying, anyway.

    eat-more-kale-slogan-chik-fil-a/

I did try a Chic-Fil-A sammy during a layover and found it was pretty tasty. Don't have a kale sticker. And I want to try that Popeyes sandwich to see if it lives up to the hype. Would only feel safe during a layover or after passing security as I would be less likely to get stabbed while enjoying my chicken sandwich.

don't really get what the problem is or why anyone gives a crap
like everything in this country its a race to the bottom no one wants to spend a penny more than they have too
everyone wants the cheapest goods and services
backcountry is the same as walmart amazon target on and on
anyone buying shit from them has been supporting a predatory shit asshole business for years without a care in the world until now when they stand up for a week or two shaming the big company they have been sucking dick for years with standing up and shaming back country makes everyone feel so good that they can help the "little guy out" but in two weeks everyone is back buying shit from them because they are offering free shipping and the lowest price possible without going out of business

support small businesses go down the street pay a little more talk with someone who lives in your area
your all fucks for not doing that in the first place
