Yeah, moved on, don't think about it. But when doing web searches this holiday season, I ignored the bc.com results.

Amazon gave BC as the 1st choice.
    Gladly, there were other vendors.

Do you want everyone to post every time they don't use BC to buy gear online?

Are there any mags with die-cut capability who can make something like this?

Unless everyone who made these decisions is gone, it's still the same company.
By choosing to do what they did, they show who they are. Anything done since is just damage control.

All this article tells me is that Nielsen was trying to rectify the situation and the shareholders canned his ass as a result.

    FUCK bc.com

Well, they fired the CEO and the General Counsel who hired the trademark lawyer guns, and they fired the trademark firm. So, yes...everyone who did make these decisions is gone.

It raises a good question though -- ARE CORPORATIONS PEOPLE?

Curious how much the whole fiasco has affected their 500+ million in annual sales revenue, if at all.

Thanks for posting this. To me, they’ve made a solid effort to make things right for their lapse in judgement. Even the Backcountry Ski guy, who originally shined the spotlight on BC’s tactics, seems to be happy with how things were handled.

Gotta believe it was a lot or they wouldn’t have fired Nielsen.

I thought the reason they ended up firing Nielsen was because he panicked in Mid March and laid off a ton of staff on a whim.
