Once they were in receivership the Nashbar folks were doing 80-95% off. If they liquidate in bankruptcy there's no need to be principled anymore, right?

Yeah. I think that is correct sir.

Soo true. We are all greedy humans always wanting more just like BC. And wanting to fit in with the herd mentality in hating them, the bad guys.

Post a PSA in gear swap when it happens!

I guess at that point they are just trying to pay off their creditors, so BC would not be making a buck...

Sounds like they are trying to make amends. Too little too late?

    Absolutely too late.

2 years in (this all started in 2017) and only after his business suffered did they change their tune. How about all the people that have suffered and lost what they worked so hard for?

Nobody is ever 'sorry' until they get caught.

I'm telling you this was all planned. A hudge PR campaign predicted, planned and perpetrated this shrewd act. You've been played.

    Really Backcountry.com??

    I’ll definitely buy their stuff!!

As long as the discount is so low that I know they’re taking a loss!

That they thought that they COULD/SHOULD attack use of “backcountry” tells you everything. Like if hiking.com trademarked and sued everyone who had hiking specific products. “Bobs Hiking Boots”

Cease and desist!!!Those can’t be called sold as hiking boots!!!

They take double the loss if you give your money to a different retailer. Think about it.

Yeah, I'm guessing that's what drove this whole trademark bullshit. They're a retailer making some knock off crap like REI and EMS. All that stuff is meh or complete shit, but the margins are through the roof.
