This video is referenced on a lot of business travel websites,

IME you have two choices. A garment bag is one, look for a patagucci "burrito suiter" on craigs list (I might have one for sale if I can find it). Downside to a garment bag is the suit and your ironed shirts will still get some wrinkles.

Other option is the video Self Jupiter posted, that vid is linked on many travel websites, I've even seen it referred to as the gold standard. Yes, you still get wrinkles but you control where the folds occur. Note in the video the guy is exacting and perfect in how he folds things.

You won't have these problems on private jets, but I get that not everyone can afford one, so I suggest telling the flight attendant that it's a bespoke suit when you hand it to him/her. They'll know what to do.

I just travelled with a suit loosely folded in a small duffel bag (a one-nighter, didn't need much else). The loose packing allowed the minor wrinkles to steam out at the hotel in the shower (if it gets bad you can use the iron). Sometimes I don't want to have to deal with a roller bag that weighs more than the clothes, having to roll it as I walk through the city, having to gate check it for small planes etc.

Do you fold/roll a suit for airline travel?

Thank you, I was just short of quoting my own post. It works like a charm, I’ve done it a bunch of times.

Who the fuck still wears suits? Can't you just rent a suit wherever you're going, if you really "need" a suit?

If it's for work - you might consider quitting that job.

    I wear my suit/blazer on plane/train.
Also have an american tourister roller board with built in garment bag.

AS mention nice wool resists wrinkles or they shake out.

A proper suit from WW Chan in HK or Henry Poole on Savile Row can take a month or more. Longer if a waistcoat is needed.

How much does it cost to get a suit made in Vietnam?

Only a heathen would buy a suit tailored by the Vietnamese.

Gore-tex ski wear is ok. If you must.
