Here's a housing lead... no affiliation. Thought it might be helpful to you coming from Away.

Cat and I will be sleeping in our cars. Can we come in and use the bathroom?

There's shows in the King Pine room Friday and Saturday night which will require tickets, so will the evening Widowmaker shows. Saturday night is Zach Nugent and whatever band he brings with him. He fucking rips

We also just got a dozen Sno-Go bikes in case the skiing blows

Get your vision checked 2020 Sugarloaf USA

    Subscribed.

A buddy lives in the CV and would certainly put me up for a few nights.

Besides I need to get back to BMOM.

Edit - anyone know if Plake is going his “down home” tour this winter. It would be super cool to try and line that up.

New for '19/20, has to be a Sno-Go brand. Brighton had a fleet last year, they were the test program for Boyne.

Haven't seen all the rules yet but what I know so far is if you want to rent one there's a pilot clinic that has to be taken first and you'll get some kind of a stamp on your pass or ticket for lift access. Pretty sure they will only be allowed on Whiffletree.

ah, got it. It’s too bad they don’t let you bring your own, they can be a fun way to end the day.

Right on PNWBritt I am more of an open source person and branding is not something I always get. Changed as soon as I became aware. I will sponsor bob the baker to free tickets if he comes out. Missed him when I was out in his neck of the woods.

Da Loaf has been adding terrain claiming to be largest in the East. If the backside/Hells Gate area is open (not often early February) even the Alpental connoisseurs will approve. As an aside, floated the Green River this past May and played leap frog with a group of patrollers from Alpental. They recognized the BBI16 sticker on my Nalgene and we struck up a conversation.

The rental Singlecross linked above is in stumbling distance from the bars and ski in/ski out. 10 of us puts it at $150 for Friday and Saturday night. I could skip a couple nights in the dead of Winter in Northern Maine in my car if others would want to kick in.

    Snowbikes sound fun

Sleeps 8 with nobody sharing a bed. Bed-sharing at a sausage fest is not cool.

When Goniff and I have done this at Jackson and also in SLC, the charge for a larger bed is a little bit higher (private room and all dat).

If someone wants to lead, I'll commit to one of the single beds.

you're right, I was thinking there were two social rooms to crash in, but no need of that. There is a room of 4 bunk beds, a room of 2 single beds, a room with what looks like a full size and a room with a king.

^^Nice work with the Beavers there Cat.

I just looked at lodging inventory for that weekend and we're heading for a sell out of all condos/hotel rooms we manage which means the AirBnB/craigslist market will be active too.

I think we've sold close to 400 tickets for the festival, that caps at 1200.

I have skied blower man made pow at Sugarloaf. Only place I have ever skied man made pow. My time at the loaf was decades ago so I don't know who works in snowmaking now, but chance a mag does. First of February is an odds on cold temperature time of year. Also if your prescription needs a refill for 20/20 we can make that happen so the groomer zoomers top to bottom ride like a powder cloud.
