Just got off the phone with a friend who was at Saddleback 2 days ago... his latest intel from then was 2" of soft snow on top of a thin layer of crust. He thought that a possible 10" on top of that surface would be pretty nice. No real peckerwood or twigs on the cut trails... he did not go in the woods/glades as he was alone and it was 2" on crust. So there is the possibility of a tour at Saddleback over the weekend if it comes in.

Saturday at Sugarloaf. What about meet up at base of skyline lift at 10:30?
Dinner reservations sound smaht, but been a long time for me, my knowledge pretty much ends at the bag so someone else should take this

I'm all about the old school lift time meet up, texting to find people on the hill blows.
Core Shot's call on the Rack for dinner is a good call, meh food but high on the ski bar vibe o meter.
Best new spot around is Backstrap but it's up in Stratton
If anyone is looking for digs I have some friends that are going to rent their camp out this weekend, I just got a text from them about it. Great location, sleeps a shit load of humans, dog friendly, on the shuttle. Everything is booked from Stratton to New Vineyard that I can tell.

New day, new map. Trend is your friend Yup that is the whole northeast so meshing different noaa region forecasts. Guessing part of it is timing of forecast as you also see the step up in Maine when you go from Gray to Caribou
Friday I will be at bottom of Black lift at 1030 mostly Grey and yellow jacket. Tours given

Looking good Bottleman. You are authorized to perform safety checks on the loafs lifts. State elevator inspector misses things sometimes
$64 Saturday tickets for the loaf ends at midnight tonight see post 45. Saddleback is definitely a good call ml, semi private hill and finally/hopefully filling in.

Do it... otherwise, we won't ski you.
Looks like we are planning to ski SL Friday and Saturday, then perhaps BMOM on the way home Sunday. All weather dependent, ofc. I'm bringing skins, but it's hard to get motivated when you can ski lift served for free...

I could do that Saturday night but long haul back and forth for those staying by sugarloaf. Let’s plan on apres starting at the Rack bottom of the access road from 4:00 to 5:00 at least and then see where the crowd wants to go
