Us telemarkers get thigh deep pow shots with just a dusting of fresh snow.

Whelp clearly not the best party organizer. Still up for showing folks around Black Mountain of Maine Friday. Tickets for 9-9 are $25. If saddleback is in good to show folks around there for a skin. I even bought a discounted ticket to sugarloaf

I'm planning on being around. Might have some less expensive friend and family Loaf tix available for Mags if needed. Tix still available for the music shows according to ticketchecker on Thurs.

I'll be there for the weekend with a few non-mags (and hopefully a few mags, too). Staying near Rangely, and would love to ski Black Friday, but car pooling, so dependent on others. Definitely down for a Saddleback skin tour Cat. Look forward to skiing with the mag posse and hoping for snow.

Nice work on the eye chart SC

The plan has always been Feb. 7-9 to line up with Fire on the Mountain festival at the Loaf... Cat has confirmed those Feb. dates in ECRC. I'm in for Feb. 7-9 and bringing a non-Mag buddy for the pairs ski Ballet competition... grab a friend and get to Maine!

No way I’m going to make it 1/31-2-2, bit still a chance of 2/7-9.

Finally made it to the loaf after over a decade on the ice coast.
Damn fine mountain. Almost enough coverage to get in the woods.
Hope you get a few more storms before the gathering.

Yesterday was punchy ice crust over 3 inches of snow.
It was loud and yet fun as hell. Never had icy crunchy fresh turns that were so much fun.
Once we lapped it a few times it was great base and fine skiing. It even healed the ice bumps underneath.
    . . .

Glad you liked it, as a long time ago western ski bum it's a pretty easy place to call home these days. When it's on, the place is hard to beat for EC skiing.

If anyone is coming for the GD weekend there are still tickets available, weekend passes and Friday or Saturday singles. It'll sell out, we're about 200 away from selling the 1300 max total.

Get your carpool posse organized this weekend and get yourself to BMOM this Friday 2/7. We all know that sacrifices were properly made this Fall and Ullr loves Beaver! We are primed to have a time!

Can anyone recommend cheapish housing/accommodation in the vicinity for two dumb Canadians (mL and myself).

Everything we've looked at seems to be in the dentist price range, or two hrs drive away.

We're willing to slum it on floor space w sleeping bags and pitch in coin if that works.

pm or danmelon at gmailz dizzot com if you want to discuss privately.

Thx! Really hoping we can make it!!

Always... one mountain's never big enough for a mag mini.

We're planning to ski SL Saturday, most likely Sunday, too. Let's figure out where to meet Sat morning and where to eat Saturday night.
