I started a thread over there. Seems to be a variety of feelings on the matter.
I think his skiing is kind of weird looking. A little forced or something- I ca’nt quite put my finger on it.

What is the point of style? As a succession of musical genres have demonstrated over the past 70 years, the key to credibility amongst certain rebellious teenagers and young adults is to piss off their parents. Tanner’s skiing style, fashion sense, diction, and life choices seem precisely calibrated to offend a particular mainstream sensibility, and to the extent that he’s been able to utilize this point of difference to leverage a modest amount of talent into a long career as a professional skier, he’s been pretty successful. Like every other fame whore I’m sure he wakes up some mornings and wonders how he got trapped in his own caricature, but we’ve all got a cross to bear.

Ya lots of flailing arms/gorilla steeze. I see what you mean. His style is not refined or graceful. Its more forced/powerful/desperate.

If one doesn't don't want those assholes at TGR calling them names or telling them to fuck off they could lurk a bit, get a feeling for the room, alter one's steeze ... you haven't figured this out
