Best way to make a thermos coffee for a long day on the slopes

    Dearest Mags,

    Got 1 L Thermos.
    Got good coffee beans.
I like about 1/4 cup milk and no sugar, Americano style.

What is the best way to make it so that it tastes good after being in the thermos half the day (or longer)?

    Always,
    PG

I'd bet that most patrols, volleys, mountain hosts and/or guides would consider this as important or more important than boot fit, ski wax, mogul technique or how to sleep in an RV.

I'm faced with this reality and I cannot escape it.

The knowledge gleaned here will be carried up and down Lotse some day.

Well, for starters, you've gotta get yourself a squirrel with a laser beam on its head to keep it warm for you in the car while you're lapping

do what all the best bullfighters do, chew your coffee beans straight. Fuck this using water shit to brew coffee.

OK - Two options I had not considered.

Turns out there are Electric Mocha Pots on Amazon.
I guess either of these options would make a fresh pot (thermos) either immediately before skiing or when needed after, eliminating the objectionable transformation of flavors en-route to the ski destination.

That looks too much like something encountered on the trail whilst hiking to garner serious consideration.
