So of course we pulled in and found out that it was some kind of historical reenactment thing, I don't really remember and that's not the point. The property it was on was some kind of Polish Club. They had a bar in the lodge house and rooms to rent if you were Polish I think and great food. Help me find where the fuck we were so I can take the Polish chick I'm into there and be a hero. For your service the standard reward will be posted here after she gets loaded up at that Polish bar.

The Matterhorn Inn and Chopin Restaurant in West Dover, Vt used to be the place for the Polish buffet. It's closed down apparently. Le tits now!

hells yea. a pleasant surprise for sure yesterday at da bush. snowing and blowing, but all lifts were open by the time we showed up (strategically late). full on storm skiing for a bit there.
wetter snow and graupel bonded nicely with the base and made for a delightful surface.

Skinned the crotch for a few laps yesterday afternoon. Arrived just in time for the springlike conditions to refreeze into typical post-rain granular. Yay. But hey - I made some turns.

    Sunset was pretty, too.

Not ski content but we did get some of the best waves I've surfed in Maine yesterday on the tail end of the rain storm. Unbelievable 10/10 conditions!

And recovering the kitchen after blowing this wall apart should keep me busy til the skiing is good again...

Hey I will be solo Ikon midweek tripping this week Thursday and Friday into Saturday. The BC does not look doable. Thinking Killington then sugarbush. Hit me up if you want to take a lap. Furthermore... If you have space on your floor for me to inflate my aerobed I will provide copius delicious brews. I was going to camp but Thursday night is looking below zero.
I don't know many of you... But 2fish has met me...
I don't see people asking after a place to crash here so hopefully it's kosher.

All good as long as you post naked pics of your girlfriend, sister or mom (only if she's hot) in this thread.

Tuning demos and looking at the snow fall. Perfect timing on this event. We needed a refresher. Everything should be nice for Xmas week.

Re-surfacing efforts underway at the Loaf, we were off to a great start too.

Biggest bummer is we are/were hosting the NENSA Eastern Cup Nordic race this weekend with approximately 400-500 racers. Had to move it to Colby in Waterville, ME as we don't have snowmaking capability at the Outdoor Center.

Tough pill to swallow after a year long effort by SL to bring the event here.

Thanks in advance to Mountain Ops... I’m sure they’re running full tilt to bring it back. I’ll be up the Loaf with my family for some pre-holiday skiing on Sun, Mon, Tues if anyone wants to make some laps and have a bag burger.

I'll be there Sunday with a friend. I don't know the mountain well so an intro would be good. Looks like they're not getting this snow.

They have it at the brewery most times I've been, its really good but a little pricey. I prefer the Sip of Sunshine one, everything that beer touches seems to turn out amazing.

With what will be open mountain knowledge won't really be necessary, you'll be able to see it all from the bottom. Sad but true, happy to give a tour when it's on.

I'm not around Sunday but will be Monday on and the rest of the week.

FYI, there's a new SL app in the itunes store. Best part of it for mag types is the interactive trail map, easy to see what's open/groomed etc.

Now I’m getting spooked. Other binder also beginning to fail. Took a look at the Bottlewoman’s binders and yup, both also cracked in same place. And yes, forward pressure is set properly.
