nelsap? More fucking money than God in this valley. They will be able to buy snow for a long time to come. That’s not even counting the lake affect burials.

And there’s a reason they call this the “aspen of the east”. Lots of fucking money in the Ohio Valley just looking for a place to be spent.

While there are a few $1mil homes around that area, calling it the “Aspen of the East” cant be more than a local colloquialism.
So Benny, do my “real” mountain chops add up for you? Should i mention the European resorts I’ve skied? We going skiing together this weekend or what?

I don't ski weekends, and I don't tour.
This season is fucked. If this thing comes in tommorow with 50mph winds and bullshit snow, I'm outta here. 50 degree rain next week on my forecasts. I'm driving to Colorado.

So dramatic!
Sure, 50 degree rain next week in So. VT...but like what’s coming in tonight and tomorrow the outcome will likely be different in the NEK (and Northern ADKs). There will be some periods of low 40 degree rain up North, but I wouldn’t give up on the East yet.

VT may be fair, but NH is bleak. It better snow here. Bring on March storms.

dude! kismet or what?
i saw this in my inbox and immediately thought of your disdain for the skier-only mountains. and there you are hanging at the bottom of the page.
for one day only:

i'm glad there'll be a couple of days for the groomers and skier traffic to fix all that scraped off terrainLast edited by buckethead; 02-26-2020 at 03:41 PM.

^^^ and more beautiful pics BG. props on the tour.
jeez benny! get it when it's good. there will always be shit weather in the NE. the adept skier picks days and locations wisely and takes care of life's other responsibilities when the weather sucks for skiing.
i don't have the ski day numbers of my brethren who live in/near the mountains, but only few of my days didn't involve powder or corn. and the all-groomer days i skiied were a refreshing change of pace. and a good workout for the legs. not a great weather season but all of my days have been fun if not downright outstanding.
and um, there IS snow. but maybe not in your yard.Last edited by buckethead; 02-26-2020 at 04:02 PM.
