Anyone in the ECRC have a spare pair of adjustable poles they want to get rid of for cheap? I can't tour with Mrs P anymore until she gets a pair!

PM your addy, I’ll try to get something off to you tomorrow. Pretty sure I have a pair of BD’s collecting dust down in my basement. I’ll check when I get home. No charge, is that cheap enough?

Perhaps, they might be bent a bit and not fully adjustable, one is missing a strap, if the Butter thing doesn’t work out.

Just a reminder when folks tell you how bad the snow this season is.

We've been above average and below average, but generally we are sitting in the pocket.

Oh, got it. They’ve changed from a pseudo-healthcare organization to a pseudo-police organization. Nothing like pretend cops. They are the most fun...

I'm 99% sure tore my ACL. Showing off for the kids trying to jump out of the woods didn't go quite as planned upon landing. Tore my other knee 4 years ago so hopefully some rehab and more biking and good to go.

Patroller was cool, I'm a recovering tele skier (not that anyone cares) so I gave him a bunch of shit about his bindings being broken. Tried to give him $$ to buy beers and bring them to the clinic but he wouldn't bite for some reason.

Tele'd for 20 years and no serious knee injuries. Back to full clamps and 2 ACLs in 4 years. Coincidence?

Oh fuck that. I’ll stick to my fairy skippin’, meadow dippin’, tele trippin’ ways.

Let’s hope it’s not as serious and you recover quickly!

definitely sucks man, hopefully it’s just a sprain. two in four years would be gruesome.

i could see how alpine bindings could contribute to the uphill spinning force required to mess up an acl. since a tele heel isn’t locked down that ski could skitter off rather than continuing to torque the knee.

Best of luck w the recovery. Rehab like a beast.

I will say too much tele can make one forget how to be a great alpine skier. Takes some effort to smoothly transition back to a stiff booted locked heel universe. Not at all blaming your technique for your injuries. Just a tough transition is all..... and, yes, alpine is much more brutal on the body.

Hope the damage is not as bad as you think, best for a quick recovery.

121mph gust out of the SE recorded at the wx station on Manny yesterday, might find the snow that fell up near Jay somewhere.
