It's the curse of Rog!
UPDATE 9:45 am: The east side is now open with King Pine turning. Due to freezing rain, everything from the summit will be closed until conditions soften. Detachable lifts (SuperQuad, Whiffletree) will get a late start due to icing, Timberline will also begin the day on conditions hold.

East MF Coast 19/20.
I had low expectations for Sugarbush this morning but it was a great. Sleet to dumping snow at around 9:30 and it’s piling on fast.
Can’t wait to get it again tomorrow

At least a foot here and still dumping. High avalanche warning just issued. Knew that was coming.

Started gurging up here about an hour ago. Looks to me like the original back-end forecast is holding up. Solid net gain of ~4" hard snot base with some fluff on top, 2-3" so far in about 2 hours. Going for an extreme dog-walk in an hour, i'll be beeping
I am very anxious to hear reports from Jay tomorrow. Everywhere for that matter- I foresee a zombie apocalypse of hungry pow seekers getting wild.

Ok, made it back alive from the wilderness. "Fluff" was a bit generous- more like cream cheese. But hey, it's white, covers everything, and made my dog and I very happy. Also the nordic condish should be awesome for wifey.
Go git it NE!!

Stowe was good today, started snowing around 9 and still dumping when I left. No rain crust that I could feel. Tomorrow will be good... and busy. Get there early.
