Issue is on the right hand side of each binding. Bottlewomans are in exact same spot. Hard to see (you need a loop) but definitely there. Some kind of production issue.

Highly recommend anyone with this type of heel give a REALLY close look. Hard to see but you would wanna know so look extra careful like.

Damn. Checked my pivots and one of them has a crack starting similar to Bottlemans photo, but not nearly as bad. Right side.

Time to search for replacement base I guess. Or get new skis. These have 4 seasons on them.

Anyone else ski today? The local bump is closed for “snowmaking” so we took advantage of the low crowds for some uphill action. Turns out the uphill is better than the downhill. Nothing like water ice concealed by 3” of fresh...We set the goal of finding the most low angle route down and that proved wise.

Concrete pour at my current project was called off until Monday because the plant wouldn't send trucks up Bragg Hill. Couldn't pay me enough to drive a truck down that hill either. Ride down #9 I saw where a car decked the rail hard, bounced off and hit it again 50' down. Then they drove rubbing the rail down the last 150 yards where it is steepest. Snow tires kids!

Made a rueben and met up with BigDaddy and his daughter for some runs.

We skied some "fast grass" on Murphys which reminded me of some early season turns at MRG in the 90's. There was less snow than I'll hike for these days.

The blue is from the water jet that the gun had been producing for some time

Great to see and ski with BD&L today, we all agreed on a 5/10 rating.

Snorth opening Friday should be good as the trails there didn't get skied to grass before the rain and have some base to them.

You obviously have no historical reference to New England weather in mid December. Net net, skiing season to date is above average. As they say, if you don't like the weather in New England, just wait 5 minutes. I would simply add: or move.
