10k of classic at Bolton and then a skin lap out to the Bryant Cabin and back across Heavenly Highway for an inbounds ski down.

As this helo was flying overhead, we heard from another skinner about the lost skier. As if it wasnt obvious, he didn’t have AT gear, skins, a partner, essentials, or common sense. They knew when he last blipped the RFID so the could keep the search zone limited.

Skiing was fun Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I guess Wednesday beat being in the office. Opted for a change of pace today. Could never get sick of that view.

Of course it was NJ. Might as well come from VT and put reserve signs at all the mall tables.

Will do. I think it is going to be a quick spring season up there. Snowpack is relatively thin.

My friend doing a kick turn. It was the only action shot my mediocre photog skills captured. Was firm and fast, but pleasantly edgeable.

Icy trail on west side of Manny had Mrs P freaked so we skied the bail out. It is a beauty day to be outside. Views all the way to Whiteface.

1400’ elevation gain was good for stretching after yesterday.

    East MF Coast 19/20.

Smuggs was nice and soft down low. I rocked it w the kids but Mrs. D reported firm up high. Beauty of a day but rain earlier this week set up a higher elevation layer that is going to take some > warmth to soften.

You can take the skiers out of the East, but you can’t take the East out of the skiers. Mrs. single and I, using more edge than needed in BC, but FUN!

Had a solid spring day at Magic yesterday. Breakfast sandwiches at West Townshend Country Store were a great way to start off, and slushy/corny turns in the afternoon sunshine were a great way to end it.

I ran into MNIAW in the lift line, meeting him for the first time. The gentleman actually allowed my buddy and I to go ahead of him and Mrs. MNIAW in the lift line, and I said to myself "I think I recognize that guy..." We ended up hanging out at sunshine corner for a bit, lamenting the lack of snow in SVT this season. Great dude. Very nice to meet you, sir.

Magic is looking great with all the new investment. I just hope they grind those stumps on Pitch Black, or it's going to take a LOT of snow to ski it.
