    +1

And to claim reliance on any forecast right now is folly. ITS NOT EVEN FEBRUARY!!! For god sake people, have some faith! And THINK SNOW! That is all....

i dunno benny. i skiied soft groomers on a gloomy looking monday - nothing like the high pressure beauty of last couple of days - but had an absolute blast. the snow was hero fast. closest to skiing with abandon all day all season.

and seriously: some of the best ski days i've hit recently were originally called duds. we all say you can't call the weather more than 3 days out when it looks good. when it looks bad we skip fucking months...MONTHS! :^O that said, a few resords have blown a lot of snow...and there's the place in jersey

Forgot we spotted this interesting lesson on Tuesday. Snowboarder holding his beginner skiing buddy back on the benny hill. First time any of us had seen this.

Shame indeed Eeyore, if Stratton was as empty as the bush looked today it must have been a blast to zoom teh groom, beautiful fuck'n day out.
Mall walk and Cinnabon, ARP discount on the roll and coffee, pick up a paper copy of the Times to flip through?

Bucket, the Cat says "get those BC's on snow!", my go to ski for woodsey turning in and out of the resort especially now that it's low tide'ish. They are so easy to steer with minimal input. On the other hand, could use some Butta Love on the Winterstieger, better get the cookie sheets out.

Speaking of the Cat, it dragged me out to a NE facing zone today that was loads of fun. Lazy laps and schwack attack. 2200' of gain total.

Next weeks weather doesn't look terrible, current forecast shows mixed with no real snow loss. Locked up base that will be hoping for a refresh asap. Currently liking this seasons, low but dense snowfall, as it has been fun to ski with minimal numbers of other skiers partaking. Penciled in next week for some outside work.

Well, I certainly hope there's no snow loss. When you ain't got nothin', you got everything to lose. Low expectations again, I see. Glass half full. How nice.

I was up there last week. What, it's any better now? I just packed up for a trip to real mountains with real snow. Oh, wait, I mean, packed powder.

THE problem is no snow. Or, no packed powder, if you must.

No action shots, my wife is too damn fast! But it’s been a few days of perfect “packed powder”. Turns you can trust, groomers you can absolutely rail on. Legs are gettin stronger and the knee is feeling solid. Good times

    Sure beats mall walking.
