Listen to Benny, he knows. it’s dirt everywhere in the NE. No amount of snow will ever recoup what the NE lost. in fact, it’s so bad next year is done.

So nice out today. I'll never complain about short winters in Vt. or 60 degrees on January 12. It will snow.....or not. 7 weeks until March and daylight savings. All downhill from here.Click image for larger version.

was hardly epic but we dodged a bullet on this one. the 14” predicted ended up being more like 6” of windbuff grapple shmoo but an inch or two of fluff during the day made it really pleasant even at the end of the day. maybe one day i’ll finally be able to figure out whether skiing with friends is better than shitposting.

let’s hope 2020 turns around fast for sweet turns for all!

BIG measurable snow on the horizon for the weekend (although you will have to fight off the masses on MLK weekend)

Edouard was waaaaaaay under average at NYE time, valinouet was good and fun but not sure it's worth that drive. Edouard would be, if the base is deep with fresh in the forecast. Might take a few storms

Fun up north today too, not as far as ML and Melon, but 10cm of ice pellets after all that rain is great for the base. Grippy as

It was nice to see a bit of new snow in the city when I got back. Hope the washed out zones bounce back soon. Lots of winter left.

I think certain aspects and elevations will still have some wet snow that will freeze solid tonight forming a decent base on which more snow can fall. Bethlehem is at 1500 (highest town east of the Mississippi) and there is no snow in the yard and a little in the woods.

18` dead calm bob, 1/2" of snow yesterday after the rain ended followed by 9/16" of fluff overnight.

Nice to see our neighbors from the north getting after it.

Spent a fun Saturday hitting some breweries with BigDaddy and friends, the Peruvians and Fussy Dutchman, great way to spend a warm and wet day and the Double Comet cans were a great rec. FD.

Out for a couple of hours walking in the forest, decent base above 2100' means I'll be back at soon enough. Some of the same lines I was skiing last week

Moved a bunch of dead branches and lopped a few things off, snow was deeper than expected so didn't want to post hole it too much.

The mutts that trimmed this missed the obvious drainage signs and can't bend low enough to cut properly, I stepped on and broke off 3 of 4

Not talking about elevation? Even then, it's not the highest.
There is a sign in town stating highest town. I will look at it more carefully since it's incorrect. Higher towns in North Carolina, too.

Dixville Notch is above 1800’, so it’s not the highest in NH.

Possibly the highest elevation of any incorporated town - 4,761 ft (North Twin).

Maybe by highest they mean most residents addicted to drugs?
I'd have guessed Rutland. But whatever.
