I want to hear more about this. About 600 words and 3-5 pics on a regional ski blog would do nicely please

The report at the local bump stated that all terrain was open for uphillers so I checked into it. A nice smooth up track made for quick ascents.

Only had to dodge a few tracks here and there but plenty of fresh to sample.

The views down the valley before the squalls were enjoyable.

Here in the gateway we picked up close to 4” today despite the forecast for less than 1. Most of if fell between 6:15 and 7:15 in a heaven band that was quite impressive. Also picked up about .5” of graupel in about 10 minutes this afternoon.

Tomorrow will be a good day to ski in the greens. If you don’t have to work or can skip out I suggest going skiing before the torch gets it all.

No time for soup. Just a plastic wrapped cookie and some shitty coffee. Scored a sweet hat for Christmas though.

Sweet, somehow it seems that plenty of Mags somehow found really nice skiing and enjoyed themselves.

1` with almost no wind bob. -6` summit

Decided to work yesterday after the snow stopped in the morning with only 1/8" additional after the morning report. And working on an outside job. Afternoon snow squall was so intense I couldn't see 10' out from under the deck I was working under.
Roads went to shit quickly and #28 on German Flats found that front wheel drive and shitty tires don't cut it. I lucked out coming by the snorth access road as the 10 wheel Fayston plow truck was pulling out but stopped to let me pass.
Got home just as it stopped, 3/32" new after I arrived, and the gale force wind arrived.

Meeting Realtor friend this AM to look at a house under contract built in '65, 1625 sq ft $375k . Needs kitchen and both baths done, kitchen is a time warp, we had the same color appliances in '71. No pictures of the baths among the 30+ photos in the listing so they must be sweet. Nothing is cheap here. If it is going to rain, might as well make some shake.

Got down to NorthEast Slopes for the Wednesday afternoon school program halfie. Great surface, great little dust up in the afternoon, same friendly local folks running the lift and the kitchen, kids everywhere, it's what skiing with your kid should be. Love that place.Click image for larger version.

Nice pics from the people who got out and took advantage before the downturn this weekend. Hopefully the recovery is quick!

Quoted for truth. Nice if your gig allows it. I've been cranking out projects on the Boat and banking days and dollars.

Looked into a trip to Montana for next week to feed the jones and found $320 roundtrip flights... call my buddy on BS ski patrol and he said don't bother coming yet. Bad snowpack that is releasing slides to ground. I'll stay home, work, and fill the Powder account for when it fills in. Here, there, anywhere.

How about some stoke from the NYE period

^ Mont Lac Vert - they kept most of the mountain closed due to lack of snow, with a special $25 CAD price.

Skied there a lot in the mid-60s. Everything still looks the same as it did back then. A classic.
