Got a call from ML242 that he was at my house making lunch! Arived to find him and his lovely Gal Pal serving soup at a set table with a beautiful salad and simmering meatballs and sauce. Great to see them as usual. Finally found my missing plates in the dishwasher.

Hooked up with Fast Jim and Jonesy for some untracked laps today

MRG was pretty sweet. Crowd was no worse than the two other days I've skied here (Saturdays). My 17 y.o. son and his buddy both said it was the best day of skiing they've ever had. Pretty cool to hear.

These damn kids can't work a camera. Blurry stick stoke.

Still a little boney out there, but the Nordica 88's took a pounding and help up well.

Wow, the bar has been raised. The timing of that shot had to be perfect - how many takes did it require to get the double twig blockage?

Had I been eating soup at the time of reading this I most certainly would've spit it out. Bravo for some highly principled risk assessment right there.

I was informed that going around a rope is the same as ducking it. The kids went first, so I had no choice.

Like in Skifishes picture there are a lot of erratics under that tower 5 drop, fun to do with a full house on the single viewing.

Took an afternoon ride up the hill to wander into the brook for a run.
Lift was spinning, might be opening soon

Cat wasn't happy to find a couple of hacks stumbled into our hidden line home. Double railroad tracks stopping every 50-100' wasn't easy to look at. 1/10

Proof that people from TGR can actually ski with each other and not just argue on the internets. The Peruvian did just fine with the altitude - here's a pic of us after dropping off the supplemental oxygen at 17.500 feet. Summit pics are unavailable because of the extreme conditions at the top. We did see some sundogs at lower elevations. Firm and fast but all in all a really fun day.

    East MF Coast 19/20.

Many thanks to the Bottles for being such kind souls, guiding me through the alpine zone to avoid the vertigo inducing steeps of the Mighty, mighty.

Not for nuthin, but I did get cliffed out at one point and had to back pedal after venturing far off the beaten track.

As much as there were questions asked, I felt the corn chowder was properly groomed.

Today was possibly the best day we get this winter. Perfect snow, perfect weather. Cold mornings and pleasant afternoons. I could get used this.
