Stowe was really deep today. Like one of the deepest days I’ve had there. Not many photos, but here’s a couple from one run. 14” at 6AM and dumped all day. Quad never ran, but traverses off the triple yielded deep turns all morning, and the one run I took off the Gondi was thigh deep madness.
Some trunk stoke:
Headed to Burke tomorrow with some friends... hope they got even a fraction of this.

Snow Ridge is great. Deepest powder I’ve ever skied in the East by quite a margin iirc

Man I chuckle a little every time I see Maine Root soda somewhere. Lynchdogger and I know the guy who started that company and I would never have guessed he'd have a business such as the one he does. Growing up he was either going to be on Saturday Night Live or in jail for something hilariously over the edge.

I know days like today don’t happen with great frequency...but come on Benny, you gotta feel a little silly hating on EC powder after today, no? Up top Whiteface got every one of the 24 inches they claimed on the report, and it was EC light. I’ve got snow in places I didn’t know I could get snow.

Today was a pretty darn nice family ski day. Poor little 5yo was plowing mid thigh snowplows most of the day. The upslope machine was kicking hard. Crank the quad opened at 2:30 ish and 2ish for sensation.

Good amount of stoke in previous posts, powderfullll woods are good
Up
And down
a rabbit hole
This guy put his skis on the rack, walked 5' and a wind gust blew it over. Seemed lost while I went through the singles line. Just pick your skis out and put them in another rack then walk away
Speaking of blew over, if I see any pheasant tracks like this being laid I'd think about pushing them over.
Not even close to being a hippy, bunnys just not in shape, but touring is going to be grand tomorrow!www.apriliaforum.com

It's been a year since I was able to let'em run and feel like I was within my comfort zone. The Untracked GOSST pitches flowed together at a nice pace. The tracked out Sherby was not as much fun, although skiing it around midday was pretty good anyway.
My reasonable start netted first tracks on the GOS Ski Trail. I still cannot believe nobody caught me on the uptrack. I stayed with my plan of not crossing the Fingers Slide path if it had not flushed. No debris showed, so I headed down then switched to skinning the Graham Link to the Sherby. The Southern half of the GL is wide open, the Northern half is a tad bushy. The Bog near the BST shows some wet soil spots but is easily passable.
Once I got to it, I went down the Sherby to the high crosover and then up the TRT. The plan wazs to take a look at the Little Headwall, but, on a whim, I followed a skin track towards Hillman's. It was the snow science crew's tracks. I stopped just below where they were digging a pit and skied down.
The GPX shows 2,756 ft. vertical gain over 7.3 miles. The sad truth is that whine does not age well

Yawn? You mean about your dismal life in Vermont this season?
Why aren't you living in the Rockies? Too far from Mom?

Anyone skiing Jay tomorrow? Was a gem today. Shit ton of snow on that hill right now. Deepest turns of the year for me. Tomorrow will also be rad.
