Well, it’s not the Loaf but that sure was a nice first date in BC... once I got a sense of the scale of the place. I'll try to represent the ECRC as best I can. Village Idiot, here I come!

Thought we wouldn’t see another storm like the Feb 7th one...then last Friday happened....

ADKmike, nice score on fairly unfettered slide skiing.

Tuesday was nice and fun to free the heel to check the balance out. Yesterday I was busy and didn't get out 'til 2 and it wasn't good at that point.

Nice pics! I repped the East Coast on top of Powder Assault last year myself; got up on the ridge and the top chute was pretty wind buffed, buddies and I were scouting the line when some girls from Seattle came up and asked "are you guy's really gunna ski that? Looks pretty hard packed and icy", I just replied "ehhh we're from the east coast, this really doesn't look bad at all", dropped in and once we got in there it opened up and was completely filled with pow, solid run overall.

++ for the Village Idiot, such an awesome spot. the food at Taco Club is also insanely good, and the Curling Club has the cheapest beers in town. Cheers!

Direct south facing groomed snow was soft, even a bit cornish. Morningstar, Birdland, Murphs were as firm as it gets being ungroomed with some dust on top.
