I skied about 8 laps on that chair and decided to see what the sun looked like. Lift failed about 15 minutes after I left that part of the hill. Sometimes, it's better to be lucky than good.

0.0" of snow bob yesterday, about 3/16" fell and melted before the rain started again. Currently 28` w/ light snow falling since 7:00, 3/8" down so far.

Somehow the bush is reporting 3" summit, I guess they count differently than everyone else...

I drove from Maine to BTV for an appointment (and back) today. Most of the drive was drizzle or snow showers and showing between 30 and 34 degrees on the dash, but the roads were wet, not frozen. I kept worrying that I'd come into a turn and find a glaze, but it never happened, even around dusk.

Yeah, sounds very aggressive and very shitty. Not young, but way too young.

On another note, the Aurora is supposed to be highly active tonight if you happen to be somewhere with clear skies.

Sucky. He was a good man, by all accounts, and got past some serious medical woes. Too young by far.

Damn, I remember when he was just a hippy with a dream. Then he made it happen.

Amazing guy, and a good reminder to live today. RIP Jake.
