Hmm, looks tasty. I'm going up this weekend to test out my new hip and was wondering if the Bush would be worth it rather than K, and it looks pretty good there. I'll likely hit SB Saturday and K or even Stratton on the way home Sunday as I've got an Ikon.

Sugarbush should be decent this weekend - some new snow, more trails and temps have been nice and cold. I'll be there Sunday AM before the masses arrive.

Was wishing I was skiing instead of going to work as I was driving over app gap this am for the impressive sunrise. Looks pretty good over there at hobbit land.
All my skiing this week was on the groomed flats of the local Nordork center with my ski partner... training for future objectives.

Not going solo. Have heard of the dip, but never had a shuttle. But I realized I followed those tracks...
some of my most memorable days were the ones exploring with just a hint of where to find the goods. I credit robrox for encouraging this attitude in me by planting some seeds that have blossomed into wonderful zones where I explored and know it, and was not shown the way. "park here, go up!" I really just like to get the parking right.
jay is closer for me than bush/K and cheaper and less people. and more snow! wonder if it will become ikonic or epik?

I wouldn't worry too much about having a shuttle or not, I've hitchhiked back plenty of times to the Stateside base area after skiing the Dip. Worst case scenario it's about a mile walk back to the lifts which I've also done a time or two. Take the high traverse into Timbuktu, duck the rope and stay on that track until you can't anymore than drop down and you should end up in some pretty nice open glades after a bit of tight turns. You'll recognize them if you hit them. You really can't go wrong here as everything leads down to 242, you just might end up in some flats if you go super far skier right.
AFAIK Epic is not interested in Jay, maybe they'll end up Ikonic or get bought by another company and stay individual.

I think it might be a little early for Little J. The skin in crosses lots of water. It can be a real PITA if all the springs are still open both getting in and getting out. Still if you've never been, it could be worth the effort and probably a few good turns, but it's certainly low tide, keep those tips up.
I think lower angle trees on near-by peaks would probably be a better choice. Even down near Stowe. the Sterling Ridge I think skis better with low snow, not sure how far Mansfield is behind Jay for totals however.

Snowing at a pretty good clip right now in Ludlow. I get out at 2:00, gonna eat the other half of a 20mg gummi and enjoy a skinner to the top. Feels like winter. 24 degrees and snowing straight down, no wind. Nice day.

Latest: Killington is soft and fun. Do with that phrase what you will internet. Rock on all, winter's gonna take a few jabs to the face next week, so git after it this weekend.

Soft and fun bush as well, just love the natural snow everywhere.
Zero pinning due to an injury for three years. Broke out the kit today after completing my work list and after an awkward first run[wax doesn't last?] got the feel back.
Soft bumps were in abundance
Love the quad burn, guess I'll have to plug in the wax iron.
Kooks were in some shitty woods including the bottom of Gatehouse ???
Carnac says tomorrow shitshow is imminent. Get after it!www.apriliaforum.com

After hearing favorable reports from the resorts this morning I thought I’d try a poke on some western slopes in the Northern Greens. Found some very nice fluff on a still thin base. Turns ranged from dreamy to boney pretty suddenly. All in all a nice outing but I think the winds were more favorable on the other side of the ridge.
