Totally! That looks my brother and I at a Santana show at Great Woods in ‘86. Ate about 1.5 more grams each, after eating a couple of grams. That first wave on shrooms is no fucking joke. We had to ride it out on the lawn; in that same position.

Today at Stowe was devoid of all suckage. Report said 3” this morning, but It was definitely a lot more, and nice density. No lines all day

Nothing like a sleeper weekday with no one around. Had one 10 days ago.

The best. I’ll take days like today over a crowded big storm day anytime.

Smuggs with 8" over the past few days skied fabliciously. Broke out the Super Bros this morning, what a great ski. Lightly snowing for the past few hours tonite. Should be tits tomorrow. Maybe Fussy D can get out of his jammies by 7 and be on the mountain by 9? Bartending gig is working out nicely, gotta work superbowl Sunday, so I'm making my own wings to bring to work. Peruvian: Turn off the computer, finish the beer, and go to bed for an early start. Totally worth coming up Tuesday AM.

Sleeping in my gear tonight so I can roll out of bed and in to the car...high expectations based on today's on mountain report, bringing the swallow tail.

Peruvian is in his hyperbaric chamber preparing for this week's trek to the high summits of the BB to meet up with akok (^ nice work) and the Bottle's at 15kft base camp .

Saw a new one yesterday. Rather than bother with one of those pesky wickets one of tomorrow’s leaders decided that he would affix his day ticket right smack dab in the middle of his sweater. Brilliant!

ah, must be an environmentalist. think of all the ghgs that go into mining of metal and production of wickets.

Well the snow north of 2 and south of 15 is pretty damn nice. Some might say pretty much hard charging go anywhere kind of density. But being a betting man, I said what’s one more day this year on the rock skis, the tales of good snow might be based on wood hungry raiders. . Twas good snow, but alas, poor execution and exuberance lead to the rock skis taking their last rock landing.

Said meeting has been cancelled. It has come to my attention that the so-called Peruvian (Burlingtonian???) has not yet completed his AIARE 2 class. With avy conditions being as they are, the high Breadloaf peaks are only open and available to expert route finders and risk assessors. Solly, cholly.

As for the Akok? He's too be busy being a ski model to come hang on a weekday.
