NWS reporting over 14” in Burlington. Based on the numbers, it’s epic conditions for dragging your snowboard around town.

Git sum. The kids have never seen a telemarketer before. You’ll be famous. And no, I won’t tell your wife.

Smuggs entered full Japan mode this afternoon - crust was fully burried by around 11 and it was game on from there

Unfortunately (or fortunately) they didnt open M1, so get there early tomorrow

I drove towards Waterbury in the evening - the line of cars going into Stowe could rival Little Cottonwood Canyon...

For those who haven’t seen this yet Stowe added a snow stake cam. It’s cleared around 6 and was hard to read but the total was 13-14’ this morning.

Little tour with Peruvian this am.

We beat most of the crowds, got into some good woods.

    He is working the hips^^^
And on the second lap, we found the goods.

Ended with some low angle twig stoke.

Wicked good morning at MEllen. Fuck me though, cars parked all the way down to German Flats. Not really crowds on the hill yet. Nice accident with a plow and minivan by the Smokehouse.

Well done boys, wish I could claim to be in shape enough to have joined but I know better! The early bird low hanging wheel fruit doesn't compare but didn't suck either. I did get in a few hikes to end the day to justify the liquid rewards.

So good the last few days. Slidebrook from Ellen side was pure untouched bliss.

    Sickter. That is all.

Edit: fun first day in the woods in ~8 weeks. Funky-ass snow pack changed dramatically every 50' or so; so many layers, all of them thin (S. VT)

Realize I made a big mistake chasing the "storm" and should have stayed at the bob. The evidence is apparent in the photos of the day.

Jay was deep yesterday. But crowded. Tram and flyer didn't spin so lines were long, but a short hike to the top of flyer had us skiing mostly untouched 19" all day.
Holy shit it was cold. Hard to find my groove standing in line at 0 F.
