If only there were seeded bumps in the tilted warehouse in the swamps of NJ. I’ll admit, I’ve been there for three different sessions already. It’s not that bad given the proximity to home. Where else can you ski during a fire?!?! This happened last night...

At least they were sensible and didn’t evacuate the place. They did shut down the chairlift. But, they spun up the poma instead to keep people skiing. The patroller explained to me that they didn’t want to risk having people suspended from the lift if there truly was a problem and the power went out.

The place is great Jerry entertainment. Especially when they were trying to ride the poma. Given the poma “track” is on the ski slope, it was super easy to just grab an empty platter after a Jerry fell off. Never had to wait in line!

That doesn't look so bad on a rainy day like today. Some funny falls, but obviously beginners so we've all been there. And you don't see pomas often even if you ski a lot, so I can understand people having trouble with them.

Would you classify the snow as frozen granular, packed powder, variable, or some other classification? I've heard you need to make reservations or is that just in case it's super busy.

Range Rover.....need I say more? Indicators of impairment? Hard to believe.

No, Big Daddy, I don't need bail $$.

In response to VT-F's comment, indeed, Brownie turned a potential shitty day into a great one today.

To quote a fellow Vermonter, skiing is fun.

Some douche said recently it would suck to live at a ski resort. I kinda like it, on snow out the door, ride some lifts, see the long inspiring view from the top on clear days, work on bumps, railing groomers or powder/chop skiing. Plenty of good eats, great food in the local grocery, fit people everywhere having fun, plenty of great paying work for those with skills and personality and on a day like today, plenty of fun untracked snow still left to ski after a busy week, from my door, even on a low tide year.

Nothin but heavy wet snow here. I was surprised to see this radar, thought it was cold enough to avoid the rain most places.
Higher up might be real fun tomorrow..

On the drive home, rain started as I got close to bromont, then puking in the city and all the way up north. ‘Dar looks good on the northern Vt spine now tho.
