If it's not yet snowing, there's time for boating. A trip to the local surf spot made for a great stormy day getaway.

68° at 10pm now 38° with 15 minute peak wind of 50mph and no power bob. Went to town and on the way back there were new windshield breakable branches along the route. Wouldn't want to be on the roads.

Crazy flooding here. Lots of damage, river jumped the road in several spots. Just stopped to help pick up limbs and debris that were blocking the entrance at the local hardware store. It’s close to Irene damage in places, washed out roads and stuff everywhere.
And now it’s snowing and 40-50mph winds...

Mill Brook jumped 100 but no damage. Snowing sideways on and off now. Direct west wind, leaves are gone.👍

Don’t beat yourself up too bad. It’s likely you were only a week off as temps are going to stay low and snowmaking will ramp up this week all over.

Bit windy today here in the NEK, roads flooded in the usual spot too. However, the flooding apparently isn't as bad as some other areas.
Power's back on now which is good.

The river went from 2 ft to 13 ft and broke the gauge. highest I’ve seen in 30 years. came pretty damn close to the house.

Friend of mine lost a section of her standing seam roof. Couple hours to make things watertight. Power back at 5:30 yesterday, still no cable until tonight or tomorrow. Have to finish Peaky Blinders anyways.

    Saving mine Benny.

Can't see the mist like snowmaking at the bush yet but there is steam coming from the pump house cooling array.

8 fucking hours in line, fuck that!
